Our Dresses
Sample gowns from full-service salons, like Kleinfeld’s in New York and Jenny Yoo in New York/Chicago, are donated to Church Street Bridal. (Click here to view a full list of our donors.) These gowns have been tried on by other brides, but have never been worn on a wedding day. Church Street Bridal does not accept donations of consigned or previously worn gowns.
At our location, our dresses range from bridal size 2 through size 28, in a large range of styles and shades of ivory, champagne, blush, and white. We have designer gowns including Maggie Sottero, Jenny Yoo, Essence of Australia, and so many more! Church Street Bridal discounts the sample gowns from their original retail price, so our brides can expect to see gorgeous, brand-new dresses starting at $300. Here at Church Street Bridal, there is something for every budget.
*A note about bridal sizing: If your street size is typically a size 8, your bridal size will be a 10/12. European sizing runs a little smaller than American sizing. In your appointment, we will help you find your perfect fit!
What to Expect
You will be greeted by a bridal stylist who is excited to help you find your dream dress! Upon arrival, your stylist will help you find your bridal size and find different styles of dresses to try on.
Helpful tips: Bring comfortable undergarments, trusted voices, and be ready to take photos of dresses to help you find “the one” for your big day!
Our Mission
Our location exists to support and promote the YWCA Central VA. Since 2004, proceeds from Church Street Bridal specifically benefit the YWCA’s Domestic Violence Prevention Program (DVPP), Sexual Assault Response Program (SARP), and Town Center Residential Housing. Not only do our brides look beautiful and feel confident on their wedding days, but they support women and children in desperate need of advocacy and services here in Central Virginia!
